Necessary Action

Triggered by the most powerful earthquake in the history of Japan, a devastating Tsunami hit the oriental coast last Friday resulting in the death of hundreds, the disappearance of thousands, and worst of all, tremendous explosions in a nuclear plant.
Today, four days after the disaster, the Japanese people are facing the danger of high radiation levels from the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, hunger, and desperation. The food and water shortages are evident, and most victims are limited to one meal a day.
Though an emergency response operation is under way, with international aid groups and world governments coming together to bring relief, the victims are terribly in need of your help.
As part of their Emergency Response, Save the Children has a team working in one of the most affected areas, Sendai.
Your help today can bring some alleviation to the suffering of susceptible children and their families during such unfortunate times.
