Wanna be button...

Someone asked me earlier, "if you could press a button to transport yourself anywhere in the world, where would you go?" I answered Paris. Despite the snowfall I read about in this morning's paper, I would love to be there tonight.
Good night,

First Final, New Tree..

Finals week has arrived! and I'm currently running on two hours of sleep. I really take my 8 hours of sleep seriously, and for the past 5 days it's been a disaster. Coffee and black tea have been the best of friends!
Anyway... today after a much too stressful morning, and a ten page written exam, I spent a wonderful afternoon picking out a Christmas tree and buying ornaments with my brothers. It took me at least 45 minutes to choose the tree itself. I ended up going for a 7 foot tall full natural tree, and golden ornaments. Though the silver and purple ornaments were very tempting,  the golden ornaments were the winners.
Here are some pictures of some pretty Christmas tree decorations. (Small, large, asian inspired, and in between) I'll post pictures of my own soon enough!
What color combinations do you like for your trees?

Good Night,

Fountain of Youth?

Is anyone still looking for the fountain of youth? Well, it hasn't been found, but it turns out that yet another procedure to combat aging has emerged.
The procedure is natural, and it consists of the patient's own blood. The blood goes through a process of purification and centrifugation in a cell regenerator that combats aging by enriching plasma, and provides a smooth texture to the skin. These injections are considered to be among the most advanced and innovative tissue regenerating therapies. Definitely revolutionary!
The therapy promises to have longer lasting effects than Botox, but it is much more expensive with an average price of $2000 per session. Both, the price and the procedure sound painful!

In a hurry!

Quick Post:
Im just wrapping up one of two 10-page essays I have to turn in Monday! The finals have arrived so incredibly quick I can barely believe it! My life is complete madness (students, you know how finals feel.)
On another note, the Art Basel is here!!!!!!!!! I'm terribly excited about seeing incredible works by outstanding artists! I'm already thinking about taking off at least 4 hours of study time to go see some exhibitions this weekend. Here I'll post the link to the complete schedule if you are interested...
BTW a cold front hit Miami, so I'm sure I'll see tons of UGG boots on the streets today...yuk!

Enjoy your day!

Bloody Leaks!

Wikileaks has published hundreds of thousands of cables written by U.S. diplomatic personnel. These documents reveal how numerous characters of international politics behave and other confidentialities regarding them. As an example, the documents highlight that Libya's ruler, Muamar el Gadaf uses Botox and is a true hypochondriac, adding that he depends much on a Ukrainian nurse who may well be his lover.
The cables also expose the intentions of king Abdala of Saudi Arabia, which allegedly asked for the United States to attack Iran to destroy it nuclear power. The leaks describe the German foreign minister Guido Westerwelle as and arrogant and superficial man, with an awful concept of the United States.
These are just a few of the many classified news that have been revealed by this organization. Furious about the unauthorized disclosure of confidential documents from the State Department, the White House ordered a review of how secret information of various levels of government is guarded.
Summarizing, the publication of cables made by the site has brought humiliation to the U.S government.
As a society should we believe this? or is it just valueless propaganda to humiliate the U.S?

KO-operate!

Does anyone have $6,500 to spare? This is the item I would like to buy today for that amount...

Anita Ko

* I just discovered her collection, and it has some nice pieces. It goes exceptionally well with my "total badass-ness" days! LOL It is pricey because it is usually 18 karat gold and diamonds. Here are some more pieces... Check it out.

Bring On the Sparkle!

I love wearing sparkles in the holiday season! Here are just some hot sparkly shoes and a few accessories ...
